Things are definitely a bit slower after LFW is over. I can’t say its quiet, or that I have to look for tasks to complete, but what I can say is that the chaos has settled… for now. I can’t recall if I explained this in an earlier post, but every time any of our clients get coverage in any publication we have to do something called a PR value. TONS of press comes with LFW (show reviews, etc) so we basically live for PR values. Basically a PR value calculates the dollar value of that coverage. For example, if Cameron Diaz was on the cover of Vogue UK in a Julien Macdonald dress. Since Julien is an account that I work on I would be required to find the advertising rate for Vogue and calculate what this is worth. We take all of the press for that day and send it to each client. This is basically how the client knows if we are doing our jobs as it is our responsibility to get Julien Macdonald as much positive exposure as possible. Fun stuff right?! We were doing this all manually before, but yesterday all of that changed and we now have a much more efficient way of doing PR values. The bottom line is that our lives are easier and we have more time to work on sample movement and anything else on our plates. Here are some pics of outfits I didn’t have time to post last week:

snood – asos, poncho – all saints, pants – talula, shoes – KG by kurt geiger, leather jacket – mackage

Poncho over leather/any lighter coat = NEW FAVORITE

Bangle – urban, watch – vintage casio, sheer top – spitalfields market

Inspiration: Maxi skirt & leather

Saw tons of this during fashion week – especially in the Julien Macdonald show!

leather – vintage, skirt – topshop, shoes – dolce vita

tee – jacflash, necklace – brick lane market
